Walking for Little Hearts
Last night our family participated in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, held in downtown Wichita. It was a beautiful night, and the event was a wild success, drawing a crowd of thousands to support a worthy cause. Our group, the Congential Heart Defects Families Association (now with a growing Wichita chapter,) raised money that was allocated specifically to fund CHD research.
Our family of eight loaded up the double stroller and braved the fighting in the backseat to drive down to the event and make the mile-long trek. We had a blast!
