Time Won't Stand Still
Time won't stand still when you have special projects to complete. Life goes on. The kids still need to be fed and loved, the laundry must still get done, and the lawn must still be mowed. These kind of things can't be put on "hold" so you can take on bigger projects... like moving. Years ago, I told Steve that if we were ever to move to a new home, there was no way it could be within a year of having a baby. The year before, I'm so sick and exhausted being pregnant that I'm good for nothing. The year after, you're caring for a baby around the clock. For the past eleven years, we have always been "within a year" of having a baby. But finally, we were able to pull it off! We have been in our new house for nearly two months now, and we love the extra space! Granted, we will be unpacking and trying to make our new house a home for many months, probably years. But we are here, even though time didn't stand still for us to pull it off. W...
