Fun and Celebration! Pt. I
Phew! It's such a busy time of year, and we have been on a two-week hiatus of fun and celebrations! Our celebrations began with Earth Day, when David's second grade celebrated Wichita history with a trip to Cowtown. I got to drive for his field trip, and we were enjoying learning about life 150 years ago until... we were caught in a downpour and had to cut our visit short.
The next day our family set out to celebrate my baby brother's wedding. The boys did very well on the short road trip (with the exception of Zachary, who screamed the last 30 minutes of the drive,) and enjoyed our hotel stay (we couldn't pull them out of the pool!)
During the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, Zachary insisted on feeding himself (and refused a bib)!
...but he didn't like the olive!
Now THIS looks interesting...
Pasta with red sauce is my ABSOLUTE favorite! And now, the scene below the high chair:
Aaah... that hit the spot! (Many spots, indeed! All over his pants and shirt...)
The next day, I got to play dress-up with my Five Little Blessings:
Including a very special ring bearer:

There is nothing more boring than waiting for a wedding to start...

My parents and their five "little" blessings.
My baby brother with his lucky bride.
Two tuckered-out little party animals.
Get a load of my handsome groom!
D-A-V-I-D!!! Is that your FIRST COMMUNION SUIT you're wearing to dig in the dirt?!
This is just the tip of the iceberg! Check back soon for more pictures of our recent fun and celebrations!
