Cute Face

Ugh... we have been incredibly busy this month of May so our updates are few and far between.  And June will fly by even faster--I'm sure--as the boys will be home from school and we'll be getting ready for Zachary's third surgery at the end of the month.  My stomach is really starting to churn over the thought of putting him through that again.  I have been having dreams about being back up in the hospital and handing our sweet baby off to the surgical team.  And being separated from my bigger boys for several weeks again....  I can't bear the thought!  I worry about Zachy, I worry about Sammy, Joseph, David, and Alex, and I feel totally out of control.  Please keep Zachary and our family in your prayers especially over the coming weeks.  Pass the word along... your prayers and support have gotten us this far, and they can get us through yet another grueling hospital stay.

Zachy has another idea that will get him the best possible care while he's up there.  All he has to do is flash his big, brown eyes at the nurses:

(A little cake frosting only accentuates his heart-warming smile!)

And when you ask him to make his "cute face", this is what you get:

Keep smiling, sweet Zachary!  We love you, and we'll get through this together!

  1. Now that IS a cute face! He will have the nurses swooning over him for sure! We will definitely be praying for him... and you!

I need to talk to you because we LOVED the meal you brought us! I want to know how you cooked your turkey because it was so moist. Mine always end up dry. And that bread... OMG... delicious! We seriously ate the entire loaf that night! How did you make that? I tried to call the other day, but no one answered and well, things have been busy and I just forgot. Maybe this week :)

  2. Oh my gosh! Zach is so CUTE!! He'll have the nurses eating out of his hands for sure! :)

I didn't realize it was time for his Fontan already. We'll definitely have all of you in our prayers. It's stressful anticipating surgery, but I'm sure the thoughts of your other little guys being so far away makes it even more difficult. Lots and lots of prayers!!
